On the morning of Tuesday 29 July a fire broke out at a hostel in Shepherds Bush, London. The fire took a hold and spread to the neighbouring Shepherds Bush Baptist Church. The roof was destroyed by the fire and the resultant water damage caused by extinguishment of the fire resulted in extensive damage to the interior of the building.
The Baptist Insurance Company is currently dealing with the claim and working closely with owners to achieve a satisfactory outcome. The damage is estimated at multi millions of pounds.
