2007 - a wet year!

What happened to Summer this year? Following one of the warmest years on record last year, 2007 is one of the wettest – or so it seems.
January saw the torrential rain and strong winds brought to us by Windstorm Kyrill. Much of England and Wales was affected resulting in structural and water damage to the buildings of some of our home and church policyholders.
In June, Yorkshire suffered rain and flooding and this was followed up by the recent floods which affected Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire.
